Romsey Lions is a friendly club - both men and women. We are an active service organisation working within the community. Whilst working hard to raise money to help the disadvantaged, we also have a great social life. We welcome new members. We are also looking for Friends of Romsey Lions. These are people who are willing to occasionally help with our charitable activities without becoming full Lions. If you are interested in either, contact us to find out more with no obligation required.
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.
Normally on the second Saturday of each month you can find our bookstall in Romsey Corn Market. Check the date on our calendar page. We are trying to expand the bookstall to include quality bric-a-brac. We are always looking for donations of good quality paperbacks. You can bring them o our bookstall or if you would like us to collect them, please contact one of us: see our contact us page. Come along to see our stock or better still have a chat to find out more about the Romsey Lions.
Message in a Bottle
Romsey and Waterside Lions distribute free of charge Message in a Bottle (MIAB) kits. These can be collected from various locations such as doctors surgeries, chemists, Romsey Hospital, Clubs etc around the Romsey and Waterside areas. The kits are a small green bottle containing a form. The form when filled in by you gives information such as medication, allergies, next of kin and pets that may be forgotten in an emergency. Upon seeing the small self adhesive green cross stuck to your front door the paramedics will look in your fridge to locate the bottle and the form to quickly give appropriate assistance.
